Jerren and Nimisha started GenUnity as graduate students at Harvard in 2019 to harness the energy we saw among our peers and in our communities to tackle inequities in our society and drive change.

GenUnity’s mission is to do just that - strengthen the capacity of diverse, everyday adults to critically evaluate, navigate, and drive change on community issues, a capacity we call civic wellbeing.
We are doing so by shifting the mindsets, relationships, and structures that underpin how everyday adults engage civically.
